CHAOS Summer Camp...

CHAOS Bike Camp

Important: Please label all personal items, especially helmets, water bottles, lunch bags, towels, and clothing.

  • Bike: Campers do not need to bring their own bike. CHAOS will have bikes available so campers can get practice time throughout the morning sessions. That said, the goal is to transfer new confidence and skills to their own bicycles so they can continue to enjoy riding at home. If they have their own bike, it’s advisable to bring it to camp.

  • Helmet: Helmets are required for Bike Camp. Because helmets need to fit each camper properly, they are not convenient or ideal for us to share between multiple campers.

  • Elbow / Knee Pads: Welcome but not required. Campers will begin with balance activities using small bikes where they can simply stand up or step off while learning.

  • Footwear: Running shoes are required. Please avoid sandals, Crocs, open-toed shoes, or loose footwear.

  • Clothing: Comfortable athletic clothing that allows movement. Please avoid loose pants, long dresses, dangling strings, or anything that could interfere with riding.

  • Water: Refillable water bottle — we’ll have extra water jugs on site.

  • Lunch & Snacks: Enough to fuel a full, active day. Please avoid items that need refrigeration.

  • Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen before arrival. We also provide complimentary sunscreen at camp.

  • Hat: Helpful for non-riding times, outdoor play, and sun protection.

  • Medications: If applicable, puffers, EpiPens, etc. These must be labelled and handed to staff.

  • Bathing Suit & Towel: We may visit the nearby splash pad in the afternoons if heat is presenting as an issue.

  • Water Toys, Optional: For splash pad fun.

  • Rain Gear / Wet Gear Bag: A plastic bag or small garbage bag is useful to store wet gear or protect items if rain hits.
